Structural analysis of jaw crusher parts

The jaw crusher has a large crushing force and is suitable for coarse or medium crushing of various ores and rocks with a compressive strength of not more than 320Mpa. It is understood that the parts are the core structure of the jaw crusher and play an important role in the work. The following is the structural analysis of the parts of the jaw crusher.

 

Supporting device: The supporting device of the jaw crusher is mainly used to support the eccentric shaft and the suspension shaft to fix them on the frame. There are two types of supporting devices: sliding shafts and rolling shafts. Rolling shafts have been gradually used instead of sliding bearings. This not only reduces friction loss, but also has the advantages of simple maintenance, good lubrication conditions and oil leakage.

 

Frame: A rigid frame composed of two longitudinal side walls and two transverse side walls. The frame bears a great impact load during work, and it is required to have sufficient strength and rigidity. Small and medium-sized generally use cast steel integral casting,a nd small ones can also be replaced by high-quality cast iron.

 

Jaw plate: It is used to directly crush materials. In order to avoid wear and improve the service life of the jaw plate, Shuguang heavy machinery  is inlaid with liners on both sides of the jaw plate and the jaw cavity. The liner is made of wear-resistant materials, generally white cast iron for small size and high manganese steel for large size.

 

Lining plate: The surface of the lining plate is usually cast into a wave shape or a triangular tooth shape, and the tooth peaks and valleys of the two lining plates are exactly opposite to each other during installation. Such a liner not only exerts squeezing effect on the material, but also has the effect of bending and splitting, so that the material is easy to be broken.

 

Eccentric shaft: It is the main part that drives the connecting rod to move up and down. The eccentric shafts of large and medium-sized jaw crushers are usually cast with alloy steel, and small crushers can be made of high-quality carbon steel. The suspension shaft is made of alloy steel or high-quality carbon steel.

 

Thrust plate: It is constructed by connecting the connecting rod, the movable jaw and the frame to transmit the force of the connecting rod. The thrust plate bears the effect of pressure when it is working, usually cast iron cast as a whole, and also made into a combined type.
