Four common sand and gravel separators

Sand and gravel separators are equipment that can effectively separate sand and gravel mixtures containing silt. The finished products are usually gravel and silt. Today we will focus on introducing several common gravel separators.

 

1. Multi-stage linkage roller screen

A roller screen linked by multiple rollers. The shaft discs are arranged in a crossed manner. There is a gap between the shafts. The sand and gravel are moved by the roller shaft at the discharge end. The particle size is smaller than the drop of the gap, and the pass is larger than the gap. The discharge port is discharged.

 

2. Shaftless drum screen

The inside is a rolling cage made of 10-20mm steel bar or manganese wire mesh, which is rotated by the bottom tug to realize the separation and screening of sand and gravel.

 

3. Tumbler screen

Similar to the second type of shaftless drum screen, only the power is driven by the middle shaft. It is usually used to separate sand and gravel with small particle size. It can be designed in multiple layers to screen sand and gravel with different sizes.

 

4. Circular vibrating screen

A kind of sand and gravel separation and screening equipment commonly used in sand and gravel yards, generally screening sand and gravel with a particle size of not more than 10 cm, and can be designed in multiple layers to distinguish different gravel sizes.

 

The above four kinds of sand and gravel separation equipment are commonly used. For larger sand and gravel, it is recommended to use the first two types of equipment. The maximum feed size of the multi-stage linkage roller screen can reach 1 meter. For many working conditions, we recommend the second option.
