In the process of high-pressure Raymond mill operation, gear transmission failure is one of the common failures. Once the gear drive of Raymond mill fails, it will seriously affect the smooth operation of grinding mill and delay the efficient work of the entire grinding production line. Then. What are the causes of transmission failure of high pressure Raymond mill gear?

1. Due to the particularity of the working environment of high-pressure Raymond mill, the working environment of gear transmission is poor during the grinding operation, and the gear pollution is serious when seriously affected by dust particles. Or the lubricating oil of the gear transmission part is not added in time and the lubricating oil pollution is serious, which will result in the gear transmission failure of the high-pressure Raymond mill.

2. After the gear transmission device has been running for a period of time, the axis of pinion and Raymond mill cylinder may become not parallel, causing the gear meshing to become local contact. If the force of the gear is not uniform across the tooth width, it is easy to cause the gear shaft bending and torsion deformation. In addition, if the structure of the transmission material is not uniform, there are slag inclusion, pores and hard particles, etc., and the local shear stress on the surface or sub-surface is too large, resulting in tooth breakage.

3. Stress concentration exists in the gear of high-pressure Raymond mill. When the tooth roof of the gear enters the meshing state, the surface layer will form original cracks under the action of excessive equivalent shear stress. In the process of gear running, the high pressure oil wave generated by contact pressure enters the crack at a very high speed, which has a strong fluid impact on the crack wall. At the same time, the surface of the gear pair can close the crack, further increase the oil pressure inside the crack, and force the crack to extend to the depth direction and tooth surface direction, and the material falls off the tooth surface, forming pitting corrosion.

4. The bearing time of single tooth of gear pair in transmission should be greatly extended, which is an important reason for excessive wear of gear. The reduction of the coincidence degree will inevitably lead to the increase of the gear side gap, so that some impurities and floating objects and dust in the air can more easily enter the meshing surface of the gear pair and cause the occurrence of abrasive wear.
